You know that here at That Baseball Mom we love any baseball themed foods. Remember our Baseball Oreo Truffles from a few months ago? Or our Baseball Hot Cocoa Bombs over the winter? Well, today we’re sharing with you how to make these cute, easy, and delicious Thumbprint Baseball Cookies. We took a simple Thumbprint Cookie recipe from Just a Taste and modified it to fit our needs for these easy baseball cookies. Let’s jump into this cute and easy way on how to make baseball cookies without a ton of fuss or time!
How to Make Baseball Cookies
Here’s what you need that’s different for this recipe from the original:
- White Candy Melts
- Red Candy Melts
We did not follow the recipe for chocolate filling as per the original recipe from Just a Taste. We simply used regular white chocolate candy melts for the center and then used red chocolate to draw the lines on.
You start by following the Thumbprint Cookie recipe over at Just a Taste. Next, use melted white chocolate to fill the “thumbprints”. Finally, using a bottle like this, you can draw red baseball lines using red melting chocolate onto the cookies. You can also substitute every other cookie and try using just regular sprinkles in your team colors for some of them too! Have fun with it!
If you think you’re especially great with chocolate, you can always attempt to draw on more detailed baseball lines, but let’s be honest…chocolate on a small cookie is hard to control. So we kept it simple for these cookies.
Didn’t they turn out SO cute?! I just love how cute and simple they were to make!! I foresee a lot of happy kiddos loving this easy baseball cookie recipe. And if you’re looking for baseball sugar cookies, these are pretty simple to that concept, except even simpler I think!
You don’t need baseball cookie cutters or anything fancy for this easy Thumbprint Baseball Cookie!
